This gray Lakeland ChemMax 3 Heat-Sealed Sealed Seam Coverall is made of a heavy polypropylene nonwoven fabric with a multi-layer film for better strength and durability in hazardous chemical environments than the ChemMax 2 coverall. It is tested in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM F1001, D3776, and D5034 standards. Elastic cuffs help reduce exposure. Heat-sealed seams are sewn and then sealed with a heat-activated tape to prevent liquid from seeping in.
Lakeland Industries manufactures protective clothing. The company, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Ronkonkoma, NY, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2008.
